In 2007, my life went into a downward spiral that ended up being one of the hardest times in my life.
At the time, I owned a mortgage company with 7 employees. My wife and I were successful business people who had worked hard over the last 6 years to grow a strong business. When the housing crisis hit, our business collapsed almost overnight. I still remember telling our 7 employees that we were closing our doors. These people were my dear friends and family. They had been with us for 6 years since we started the company. This meant I had to fire, my sister-in-law, father-in-law, and some of my best friends. My wife and I wept together as we said good bye to some dear friends. If you've ever had to fire someone, you know this can be heart wrenching.
The next 6 months were awful for my family and I! After that sad, day when we closed our business, we slowly lost everything we owned including our wonderful 3800 square foot dream home. This was the house we were going to raise our children in, and grow old together in! The next thing to go was my prized dream car, a brand new Acura TL! Finally, after being sued by countless companies, we ended up declaring bankruptcy in 2008, without a penny to our names. We had hit rock bottom. We were broke!
For months, I applied for job after job.... As you can imagine, with my horrible credit scores, nobody would hire me in the banking industry. I even applied for a marketing job in which the owner of the company asked me “How can I expect you to market my company if you can't even market your own business?”. Needless to say, nobody would hire me... I became very depressed, discouraged, and sickly. I even started taking depression medication to cope with the pain.
After a few months of searching for a job, I decided it was time to go for it again! It was time to start an online business out of my house. I kept looking for a job in the mean time, but I decided that I shouldn't just sit around waiting for a job to fall into my lap. For three months, I was reading and researching everything I could about internet marketing, and trying to figure out what worked and what was a waste of time. After about 3 months, I made about $500.00 total. Yes, that is pathetic, but I saw the potential. I put a lot of effort into the next 3 months, and I ended up clearing about $10,000.00. My wife came on board with me, and agreed that there was potential here.
As you'll see from my proof video, the rest is history. Since then, I've been clearing up to 21K per month with my new internet business. I'll never forget my wife's expression when I told her that I had made $19,000.00 in sales in just one week. She now believed in me again, and she knew that this was a legitimate business.
